I received the kindest note from a client today. They are planning to implement phase 2 of a project after having enjoyed phase 1 for a number of years. I sent them a copy of the drawings they needed, and here's (in part) how they responded...
"[We] wanted to write back a note of appreciation to you. We are greatly enjoying our home. We really feel you did some remarkable things with the space. you were a great listener, you understood our aesthetic, and you made it real. It was a sharing of your gift, and it has now given us years of pleasure."
Pleasing my clients is always my goal, and I'm glad I succeeded.
